PORT groups and practice times have been updated for the 2008-2009 season!
Please check the PRACTICE TIMES page of our website to see what group your child is in and their practice time. If you do not see your child's name, please contact Coach Adrian as soon as possible at portervalleyaquatics@yahoo.com.

Porter Valley Aquatics, PORT, is the fastest growing swim team in the San Fernando Valley. Our team offers a great club swimming experience for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. We train year-round as a member in the Coastal Section of Southern California Swimming and have featured CIF High School Championship finalists and Champions, multiple Junior Olympic qualifiers, finalists, and champions, a number of Southern California Swimming Top 16 ranked swims, National Reportable Top 16 times, Junior National qualifiers and finalists, U.S. Open qualifiers, Senior National qualifiers, Olympic Trials qualifiers and both High School and Collegiate All-Americans.

Our practices are held at the Porter Valley Country Club. The Facility is a six lane, 25-yard pool, and our Senior group has access to a Fitness Center weight room for strength and dry land training. PORT also has access to lanes at a 50-meter pool in the summer so we can train long course.

PORT represents at USA Junior National Champinships	8/22/2008
Caitie Hawthorne, Heidi Zeiger, Camille Duckett, and Meghan Hawthorne took the trip to Minneapolis and swam great. 9 personal bests for the week! Meghan placed 3rd in th 200 IM as the top 3 in that event swam under the Junior National record! Meghans efforts in both the 200 IM and 200 Free were strong enough to earn her a spot on the USA National Junior Team! <more>

PORT showed both its speed and depth in dominating the latest swim meet in Cerritos. PORT swimmers acounted for multiple Winter Invitational qualifying times as well as numerous Age Group Championship times as well. GREAT JOB PORT!!!!

Meghan Hawthorne and Tony Cox represented Porter Valley Aquatics well at this year's US Junior Nationals. Meghan finaled and placed 7th overall in the 200 IM, finishing off a busy week of constant swimming for her.

Meghan Hawthorne was PORT's sole representative at this year's US Senior Nationals, where she qualified by swimming an Olympic Trials qualifying time in the 200 IM earlier this summer.

Updated Fall Schedules are now available at the pool. Ask your coach for a copy. We will be posting it online shortly as well as modified groups for the fall season. Your child may not be in the same group as last season so make sure to check it once we post it to avoid confusion.

RSVP for swim meets will now be done by emailing us at portmeetrsvp@yahoo.com. Please be prompt with your emails to ensure your swimmer gets into the meet.
