MEET TIMER THANK YOU
A big THANK YOU to all of those who volunteered to time at the Saugus home meets. Our meets ran smoothly and quickly, and all of you played a significant part in that success!
RECORD BROKEN: AFTER 25 YEARS
On April 22, 2009 (Saugus v. Golden Valley), Eric Zhang knocked off one of the three oldest Saugus High swim team records. A record that was held since 1984, the 55.20 seconds for the Junior Varsity 100-yard Freestyle was no match for Eric’s quickness. Eric shaved almost six tenths off of the 25-year-old record, coming in at 54.61 seconds. Of course Eric is no newcomer to setting records. He also holds the team record for the 100-yard Individual Medley. And he’s only a freshman!! Eric’s future as a Centurion looks bright!

SWIMMER OF THE MEET
Take a look at who was chosen as "Swimmer of the Meet" for the Saugus v. Valencia and Saugus v. Canyons meets. All of our Saugus swimmers are special and contribute to the overall success of the team, but these swimmers were exceptional. Congratulations!
MEET SNACKS!!!!
Attention ALL team parents! We need families to donate snacks for our swimmers at meets. Without your generous contributions, our swimmers risk becoming dehydrated and losing their focus at meets. Currently, we are looking for contributions of granola bars, pretzels, crackers, juice, gatorade, and water. Please contact our Snack Coordinators, Stephanie Cook or Claudia McCance, on what you can donate to the team. All donations are greatly appreciated!
