Welcome To the 2012 Barracuda Aquatics Club Long Course Season! Two option for our NEW Mandatory Parent Seminars!! Monday April 23rd IN BLOOMINGTON: 6:15pm – 7:45pm (@ Oak Grove Middle School pool gallery) Monday April 30th AT SHAKOPEE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 6:15pm – 7:45pm (in pool gallery) THIS SEMINAR IS FOR NEW PARENTS TO BAC!

A RECORD BREAKING SEASON COMES TO AN END!!	3/20/2012
MORE RECORDS FALL TO FINISH THE SEASON!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR SWIMMERS THIS SEASON!! We had three more swimmers breaking records at the Med City Aquatics Aghe Group State Championship Swim Meet in Rcohester on March 15-18. Sarina Le continued her onslaught on the BAC 11-12 Girls records by bettering 5 of her own records; Preston Le broke one more record and bettered his own record in our Boys 8 & Under age group and Brian Yi joined the record breaking group this season by breaking two of our Boys 11-12 records over the weekend. That is now 32 team records broken or bettered this season by BAC swimmers. Sarina bettered her own records in: 50 yard Butterfly 100 yard Butterfly 50 yard Backstroke 100 yard Individual Medley 200 yard Freestyle Preston bettered his own record in: 50 yard Butterfly AND broke one record in: Boys 8 & Under 100 yard Individual Medley (held by Grant Terrien, 2003) Brian broke two records in: Boys 11-12 100 Butterfly (Ryan Terrien, 2000) Boys 11-12 100 Individual Medley (Ryan Terrien, 2000) CONGRATULATIONS TO SARINA, PRESTON AND BRIAN!!

SENIOR STATE BRINGS MORE RECORDS BROKEN!!	3/16/2012
NEW RECORD BREAKERS ADDED TO THIS SEASON!! CONGRATULATIONS TO SETH BERRY & KIERAN ANTHONY!! Seth Berry broke two BAC Boys 15-16 Team Records & tied one Boys Team Record & Kieran Anthony broke one 15-16 Boys Team Record & one Boys Team Record at the Minnesota Senior State Championship Swim Meet. That is now 23 team records broken this season by BAC swimmers. Seth broke: 15-16 Age Group: 50 yard Freestyle (held by Trevor Hamann, 2006) 15-16 Age Group: 100 yard Freestyle (held by Trevor Hamann, 2006) Team Record tied: 50 yard Freestyle (held by Paul Happe, 1994) Kieran broke: 15-16 Age Group: 200 yard Butterfly (held by Kieran, 2011) Team Record: 200 yard Butterfly (held by Sacha Broccard, 2010) CONGRATULATIONS SETH & KIERAN!!

Preston joins the Record Breaking Party!!	2/9/2012
NEW RECORD BREAKER ADDED TO THE FAMILY!! CONGRATULATIONS TO SARINA & NOW PRESTON LE!! Sarina Le broke two more BAC Girls 11-12 Team Records at the Sea Devils Swimming "A/B" Swim Meet. That is now 18 records in five meets this season, 12 that she did not own previously. Joining this record breaking streak at this meet was Sarina's little brother, Preston. Preston broke one of the Boys 8 & Under Team Records at the Sea Devils Meet. Here are the records that went down at the SDVL "A/B" Swim Meet. Sarina broke: 100 yard Backstroke (held by Sarina in 2011) 200 yard Butterfly (held by Tami Ritchie, 1996) Preston broke: 50 yard Butterfly (held by Grant Terrien, 2003) CONGRATULATIONS SARINA & PRESTON!!

NEW YEAR, SAME SARINA!!	1/18/2012
RECORDS CONTINUE TO FALL!! CONGRATULATIONS TO SARINA LE!! Sarina Le broke four more BAC Girls 11-12 Team Records at the Team Foxjet "A" Swim Meet. That is now sixteen records in four meets, eleven that she did not own previously. Here are the records that went down at the Foxjet meet. 200 yard Backstroke (held by Sarina) 50 yard Butterfly (held by Sarah Domiano in 2006) 100 yard Individual Medley (held by Sarah Domiano in 2006) 400 yard Individual Medley (held by Sarah Girard in 1998) CONGRATULATIONS SARINA!!
